Black & Tans 

  (for  vegan substitute with the blue type) 

1 cup (2 sticks) butter (Use Vegan Margarine)

1-1/4 cups packed Golden Brown Sugar

1/2 cup White sugar

2 Eggs (use egg replacer per box instructions)

1-1/2 tsp. Good Vanilla

1-1/2 cups Flour

1 tsp. Baking Soda

3 cups Original Quaker Oats

2-ish cups of Dark chocolate chips (Use only Large Chips)

Crumbled Pecans to taste

 

Cream Butter & Sugar

Combine Flour, Soda and add to mix            

Stir in Oats then add Choc. Chips and Pecans               

Lump on un-greased cookie sheet with large soup spoon

and bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes or until the tips are just starting

to become golden. Remove and place on cooling rack.
