Oatmeal Raisin/Sour Cherry

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

1 cups packed Golden Brown Sugar

1/2 cup White sugar

2 Eggs

1-1/2 tsp. Good Vanilla

1-1/2 cups Flour

1 tsp. Baking Soda

3 cups Original Quaker Oats

2-ish cups of Golden Raisins (Sour Cherries are better)

Crumbled Pecans to taste

 

Cream Butter & Sugar

Combine Flour, Soda and add to mix

Stir in Oats then add Raisins and Pecans

Lump on ungreased cookie sheet with large soup spoon

I use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to keep things uniform

and bake at 380 for 12-14 minutes or until the tips are

just starting to become golden.

 

You can also throw chocolate chips into the mix if you

want, but make sure to use the large chips.
